General Information
PVC 4700 is a 5.2mil matte surface soft PVC coated in a synthetic rubber adhesive. This superior quality product has a long shelf life and write-on capabilities. It provides a very effective vapor and moisture barrier. This tape is highly conformable and resistant to aging, sun, water, fungus, bacteria, oil, acids, alkalies, and corrosive chemicals while providing good abrasion, imact, and rupture resistance. PVC 4700 is used for color coding, lane marking, and safety coding to meet OSHA requirements. It is also used in decorating, striping on vehicles, boats, sporting equipment, and more. It is a good masking for hard chrome plating and anodizing, and can also be used as a pipe wrap and duct joint sealer.
