467MP
2.3 mil High Performance Acrylic Transfer

General Information
A 2.0 mil. laminating tape featuring 200MP hi-performance acrylic adhesive on a 58# polycoated kraft paper liner used for bonding, laminating and assembly of membrane switches. 200MP adhesive is initially repositionable, then builds to a high ultimate bond strength. The bond of 467MP will hold securely after exposure to harsh environments and splashes of organic solvents, salt water, cleaning solutions, germicidals, disinfectants, gasoline, oil, Freon TF, sodium chloride solution, mild acids and alkalis. 467MP tape has excellent die-cuttability and excellent processability with roll laminating. The clarity of 476MP is possible from virtually free vapor inclusions commonly found in adhesives produced by traditional solvent coating techniques. The excellent high temperature performance and excellent shear strength minimizes edge lifting and slippage of parts. Available with a 2 mil PET liner as 467MPF and with a 3.5 mil polycoated glassine liner (PCG) as 467MPR.

The physical properties listed are typical values and are not to be considered as specifications. Our suggestions for use are based on tests we believe to be reliable. However, the purchaser must carry out their own tests to determine the suitability of the product for their internal use. Information is given in good faith, but without warranty.

It is essential, as with all pressure-sensitive tapes, that the surface to which the tape is applied be clean, dry and free of grease and oil.

Shelf life from date of manufacture is based on the product being stored at 70°F(21°C) / 50% relative humidity out of direct sunlight.

Specification compliance is dynamic and should only be used as a general guide. Always confirm that the tape you are interested in currently complies with all specification requirements. Please verify that the product number that you select is available in the proper size and color to meet your specification.

Choose the surface energy of the exact surface that the adhesive will contact (e.g. if the part was painted metal, paint would be the surface energy).
