Tim Croskey, CTO of Power Fountain, LLC, came to Budnick with an idea for a unique invention that had instant consumer appeal for today's privacy concerns.  Tim had invented the ZapStrip - a specialty paper that, when wrapped around a thermally printed prescription label, could erase the printed medication data.  Unfortunately, he had no way to produce, package, or warehouse the product.

Cockling of Liners - It's Not the Heat, It's the Humidity

With winter upon us, it's a good idea to examine the effect of low temperatures on self adhesive tape performance. The general rule is that the higher the temperature, the less force it takes to stretch a visco-elastic material. Conversely, the flexibility of the PSA polymers are reduced as the temperature decreases, causing the adhesive polymers to become harder and stiffer.
