Duofoam® S5300A is a 25 mil, solid acrylic tape. It is primarily used for a wide range of weathering and temperature conditions without losing adhesion.

  • The tape possesses a uniform high-tack acrylic adhesive on both surfaces
  • Elongation = 500% (ASTM D412 Die C
  • Cleavage peel strength (ASTM D1062 = 30 pli
  • Dynamic shear strength (ASTM D3163 = 90 psi
  • Density = 65 lbs/cu. ft.
  • Aging Properties: Break away peel on aluminum = 29 psi (24 hour); 42 psi (3 yr. Florida aging); 50 psi (# year Arizona aging)
  • Continuous peel = 8 psi (24 hr.); 21 psi (3 yr. Florida aging); 22 psi (3 yr. Arizona aging)
  • Break away peel on primer: 18 psi (24 hr.); 37 psi (3 yr. Florida aging); 41 psi (3 yr. Arizona aging)
  • Continuous peel on primer: 7 psi (24 hr); 19 psi (3 yr. Florida aging); 19 psi (3 yr. Arizona aging)
