Closed Cell Polyvinyl Chloride Foam Sealant

General Information
V742FR is a 1/16" thick, closed cell PVC multi purpose foam sealant that is coated on one side. This medium density foam is flame retardant and is used primarily for light, air and moisture seals. Norseal® V740FR series.

  • Close cell foam remains flexible in low temperatures
  • Closed cell foam creates an effective air, moisture or light seal with only 30% compression
  • Density=9#/cu.ft.
  • Tensile=30PSI
  • Thermal Conductivity=0.28
  • Dimensionally stable: Will not drip, ooze or run when under compresssion
  • Excellent weathering, oxidation and fungi resistance provides long life
  • Excellent conformability to curved and irregular surfaces
  • Aggressive adhesive keeps foam in place during assembly
  • Easy peel liner eliminates stretching during installation
