General Information
K290ESD is a 2.5 mil adhesive, manufactured from polyimide film with high-temperature silicone adhesive. It is constructed to fill the requirements of a high performance Thermoplastic (Polymide Backing Materials). It is chosen for gold finger protection during wave solder applications that require reduced electrostatic discharge upon tape removal.

  • It is available with or without a liner
  • It has excellent electrostatic discharge properties-the ESD additive reducing the electrostatic discharge that occurs upon tape removal.
  • It can safely and cleanly be removed from printed circuit boards
  • The proprietary adhesive system provides high electrostatic dissipation without sacrificing adhesive strength at extreme temperatures.
