It is engineered for fine wire applications requiring a non-corrosive tape. P253 is recommended for insulating connections, crossover insulation and barrier insulation on small bobbin wound coils; and for holding layer and barrier insulation on stick wound coils. It is well suited for high-speed machine applications.
