Clear Polyethylene Surface Protection

General Information
03M00-048C is a 3 mil polyethylene film used in interior applications of surface protection of stainless steel. A medium tack good performance masking tape consists of a low density film coated with a chemically stable water based acrylic adhesive.

  • Tesile Strength: MD=4100PSI, TD=3300PSI
  • Elongation: MD=600%, TD=650%
  • Low density
  • Can be hand or machine applied
  • Acrylic adhesive will adhere to a variety of substrates and remove cleanly
  • Prevents scratching & marring
  • Prevents extra clean up due to overspray
  • Reduces the need for costly rework & eliminates rejects
  • Medium density film cuts cleanly & resists edge curl
