Double Coated PET Tape

General Information
IB-2131 consists of a thin polyester film coated on both sides with a high tack, modified acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The product is supplied self-wound on a 60# densified kraft liner. IB-2131 is 54” wide and IB2136 is 60” wide. The unique acrylic adhesive bonds to a wide range of materials, including most plastics and foams. IB-2131 provides the temperature resistance required by many automotive and appliance applications without sacrificing peel and tack adhesion. The polyester carrier provides excellent dimensional stability and die cutting properties.

Adhesive Tape Features
  • Resistant to water, detergent and alcohol, aliphatic and some aromatic hydrocarbons
  • Not recommended for use in contact with solvents such as ketones, esters and some chlorinated hydrocarbons
  • The polyester carrier provides excellent dimensional stability and die cutting properties
