UHMW Polyethylene Tape

General Information
403-3 is a 8.3mil, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene film backing with an aggressive elastomeric adhesive. The UHMW film provides an excellent low friction film provides an excellent low friction, non-stick surface, in many ways similar to PTFE. The film has a very high tensile strength and is very tough and abrasion resistant. This tapes is used primarily in mechanical applications such as chute liners, wear pads and guide rails.
