Filament Tape

General Information
A 7.0 mil. high performance off-white tape reinforced with high strength glass filaments. The tape is designed to hold appliance parts together during manufacture and shipping. The adhesive system is specifically designed to provide high adhesion, excellent holding properties, high internal strength to resist transfer to appliance parts, and good stain resistance. The Scotchpar™ film backing provides excellent abrasion, moisture, and scuff resistance.

  • Doors and other movable parts are held securely in place to guard against damage
Adhesive Tape Applications
  • Application is most easily accomplished at room temperature
  • Lower temperatures, approaching 32°F, the adhesive becomes firm
  • Once applied, the tape performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments
