General Information

Safety Walk™ 280 is a white 23 mil, fine textured, slip-resistant surface with a pressure-sensitive adhesive backing providing enhanced safety and comfort in light- and barefoot-traffic areas. The special acrylic adhesive coating is formulated specifically for wet areas such as showers, tubs, surfboards, and pools. 3M Safety Walk™ slip-resistant tapes and treads adhere to clean, dry surfaces without wrinkling, curling, tearing, shrinking, or lifting. They offer proven durability for a long life. The pressure sensitive adhesive backing makes it easy to apply tapes without the use of anchoring. Safety Walk™ products meet or exceed the standards and recommended guidelines for slip resistance in accordance with ASTM requirements. Safety Walk™ products are available in standard rolls and pre-cut treads, or can be custom converted into specialty sizes and shapes.
